6.1 Development of Dissemination and exploitation plan
Addressing comments received by evaluating the technical report, Original Dissemination and Exploitation plan was modified. The purpose of the BRITAE Dissemination and Exploitation Plan was to systematically set out the BRITAE project’s dissemination and exploitation activities, and further the aims of the project, to maximize their impact during the funding period and beyond to ensure sustainability.
6.2 Develop Project websites and Dissemination through Project websites
The website opened to the public and raise awareness of the project and its outputs among relevant stakeholders and disseminate the project outcomes to a much wider community. The website hosted information about the project aims, consortium and its activities including events conducted for developing ago-ecosystem resilience.
6.3 Dissemination through non-consortium members
A national and international non consortium member network was used for greater dissemination. Non consortium members maintain broad tied in the areas of academic and research works with many universities, institutes, colleges and professional firms from a large number of countries all over the world.
6.4 Publish e-newsletter
E-newsletters disseminated the progress of the project to target groups, including updates and news on events. The e-newsletter also provided institutions with information about relevant developments in Europe and Asia
6.5 Dissemination through promotional and dissemination materials
Three flyers have been designed for this purpose. The first (Inception of the project) contained information about the overall project, the second (Feb 2021) was based on the work packages of the project and the third (April 2021) was based on the BRITAE project.
Dissemination of the project activities was done in following manner.
Task 6.6 International conference on Building Resilience in Tropical Agroecosystem.
A Dissemination Conference within the project topic was organized. It showed the results of the complete project, in presence of more than 150 participants from Sri Lanka as well as other countries such as Japan, New Zealand, Indonesia, China Australia.
The chief guest of the conference was Mr. Lars BREDAL, Deputy Head of EU Delegation Sri Lanka and Maldives.
