BRITAE – MEETINGS
The secondment visit of the BRITAE Project will be held at University of Central Lancashire Preston, UK from 4 th to15th September 2023 .It is organized by University of Central Lancashire Preston, UK.
The kick-off meeting of the project marked the official launch of the BRITAE project and delegates from all nine partner universities attended the inaugural session held from 25th to 28th February, 2020 at Hotel Turyaa, Kalutara, Sri Lanka. The kick-off meeting ran for four days including a one-day field trip. All the partner Universities were represented at the inaugural session and their work packages and BRITAE frame work were presented in detail at the meeting. Further, terms of reference (ToR) for all partners and EU budget provisions for the project were also discussed.

The zoom meeting of the project marked the reunion of BRITAE project partners after about three months of discontinuity due to the outbreak of COVID-19, global pandemic situation. All nine partner universities attended the session held on 25th of June, 2020 and the zoom meeting ran for about two and half hours. All the partner universities were represented at the session along with progress of work packages and completed tasks up to 25th of June, 2020. Further, a no cost extension of six months was agreed by all the partner universities to execute uncompleted tasks up to date.

The 3rd consortium meeting
The third consortium meeting was held on the 17th and 18th of November 2020 via Zoom. The meeting was hosted by the leading partner of the project, University of Ruhuna.
Several important aspects of the project such as the methodology and outcomes of the detailed literature review and questionnaire survey, the BRITAE framework, specifications and certification rules of the module, establishment of the SAR center were discussed. Finally, the progress of each work package, Administrative and Financial procedures, a steering committee meeting and the time scale for the next 6 months were collaboratively discussed at the meeting-

The 4th Consortium Meeting
The 4th Consortium Meeting was held on 19th March 2021 from 2.30-6.00 p.m. via Zoom. Presentations were made on the progress of each work package. The meeting ended with the Steering Committee Meeting, the way forward and the publication policy of the project.

The 5th Consortium Meeting was held on 17th September 2021 from 2.30- p.m. via zoom. Following progress presentations of each work package, the meeting ended with the 6th Steering Committee meeting.
